Kathmandu, October 9, 2026 — Gold and silver prices increased in Nepal’s domestic market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).
The price of gold rose by Rs 2,900 per tola to Rs 295,700 on Friday, compared with Rs 292,800 per tola on Thursday.
Similarly, silver prices increased by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 4,405, the association said.
Nepal Telecommunications Authority says internet service charges have not increased and warns providers against unauthorized price hikes, excess billing and practices that harm consumers.
